A keen reader, I take influence from texts read over time. Whether this be childhood favourites, such as “Alice in Wonderland” or “Matilda”, or texts linked to certain notable locations. For example, one work took inspiration from Shelley’s “Frankenstein” and her connections to Marlow town. Through commission work, I can explore an object or places link to certain texts. I recently participated in an exhibition at Watlington library, titled “The Art of Words”. This showcased various works made with text and old books found at charity shops. Take a look at work on this page to explore artwork incorperating text!
